This week had been a blast for me, I must say, because things weren't as boring as they were before. Yup-yup, I'm looking forward to each day as I wake up knowing that the word "routine" won't exist in my vocab for a while. So yeah, these are just some of the several things I would like to share with you. Catch up with my randomness, baby. And oh, skip the first one if you'll find it very offensive.
i. literature classI really don't know where to start, but hey I'ma start right away, yes? :} Anyway, if you had been paying attention to my previous posts, you'll know that I have this
SOAB lit professor who's ironically on the run for
making and breaking the days of every student he encounters on his classes. Well if you have one who's always on the list for being regarded as the
late bird (being late is an understatement, if there's such a word) you'll probably know what I mean.
If you'll ask me to elaborate it further, he'll be late for like 30 minutes and probably will he trace his red carpet directing to a table that says
"Eject the f---ing professor!" just in time for us to complete the attendance sheet and call it a day. Sucks, much. But wait, there's more! After his grand-ee-yo entrance,
he'll ramble on about everything offensive and bitch about everything taboo. He's pretty funny actually, considering his "
DNA Shooter", as he coined it, he'll make us read a chapter of
Giovanni Boccacio's
Decameron where
Rustico and Alibech's
putting the devil in hell is the
limelight of his bitching for the day. He'll even discuss xerex, barely legal, etc. in class and make fun of the horn dogs in our class, knowing that he belongs with them. haha, the joy!
But you know what?
Despite his bitching, he always got a point and, its hard to say this , but he's always right (There! I've said it) putting us into shame and making us realize that,
"hey, I'm such a prick for not seeing that". He'll remind us that everyone of us are hypocrites, just like everyone else. And it actually is a nice experience hearing his
"words of wisdom and shiznits", but only if you have an open-mind though. Using form in his nonsensical blabs
makes him a SOAB professional and an artist himself (making me want to shift back to my first choice of course) . I don't think my classmates will approve me for writing this (they don't see him as I do), but I'm definitely giving him
four thumbs up as evaluation!
What are you gonna do, vandalize "Tang ina FEU!" inside the campus and draw little hearts underneath it to make it look pretty?!
-him provoking my blockmate
ii. swimming classIt's official, our actual swimming class just started last Friday on
Pasay City Sports Complex. :} Uh, okaaay--we really haven't started yet on the swimming proper because we consumed almost all of the time changing and playing in the pool. But yeah, we have officially started our swimming class
by default because we are there. :P
I really thought that swimming, as my PE, will be a medium for my self destructing but I was wrong pala. We got tired afterwards, sure as expected, but seriously, it's nothing compared to the experience that comes with the package labeled as PE3 in our course curriculum (now I'm gay-talking). To tell you,
I never thought that swimming could be so easy and the fun part is, I
could hardly believe hearing my heart, together with my hypothalamus, screaming the words "excited" and "giddy" upon seeing the pool. My professor, who looks exactly like
GusGus in Cinderella because of her protruding teeth (no pun intended, I love her and I found GusGus very cute and loveable), make the class even more funner (i know there's such no word, im just emphazing on the fun part) with her wits, charms, sense of humor and her mother-like figure. :} I also
love the way our swimsuit uniform fits me perfectly, although I prefer the black one with all the
red lining instead of the black one with all the
royal blue lining (color coding), but it still look good on me though, so yeah royal blue will do. lol
Hear ye as I say,
I'm currently loving it, as of the moment.
*confetti.confetti*iii. schedule rantsI don't know if most of you are aware that I have a 12 to 1:30pm-9pm schedule for four days, (T,W, F, S) 7am-6pm for Thursdays, and
no classes for Mondays, causing me to rewrite, more of remind, you guys of my
oh-so-friendly schedule this semester.
As I was saying, most of you will probably see it in disgust.
Considering the fact I'm from Cavite, a sub-urban of Manila;
You'll probably think that I'm staying in a dorm just like everyone else, because
according to you, Cavite is a very far away land from Manila and
commuting back and forth is
such a far-fetch thing to do --
but it's not! Actually,
I'm commuting myself everyday for 5 days, back and forth from Manila to Cavite just for school. Yes guys, I've been roaming around the streets of Manila in the wee hours and its dangerously fun, but not anymore for me cause I've already got use to it.
Believe it or not,
I love my schedule now more than ever. I'm kinda expecting violent reactions to this so
I'll do the soliloquies for you,
"Love the schedule?! What's wrong with you Aileen Jacildo?!" I don't feel the need to defend myself here, but since I can feel you
raging there, I'll do it na lang. Here goes the defending lol:
- I'm a nocturne, I love the night, and I have insomnia. RATIONALE: I can have all the time for school works at night without even worrying getting up late the next day because my first class starts 12 or 1:30 pm.
- No traffic, very self explanatory. I can just sit back and relax inside the van as it make its way home sweet home. Plus! It will only consume me 45min-1 hour getting home unlike before, 1 & 1/2-2 hours in the making.
- No crowds. You don't expect huge crowds during the wee hours right? Well, except if you're clubbing or something.
- Quiet and Solemn.
- I feel less tired, I just don't know why.
- I'm more focused with my studies. My sched screams "No Social Life", that explains it.
- I'm more connected with my college friends than before, do the critical thinking. See #6.
And a whole lot more. Of course, I must say
, that there are downs with my schedule too, but
I won't burst the bubble myself, you know? lol.
Know what?
I must end this post now before it beats the hell out of Mahabharata itself in terms of length. And oh, spare me 2 more whines before I go.
1.) I'm having a long weekend considering the fact that its Manila day on Tuesday, but I think everyone will also have a long weekend because of the storm. Boo! 2.) My father was able to get home safe from a business trip in Negros despite the cruelty of the storm, thank God.That's it.
